You agree, through your use of this forum, that you will not post any material which is false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, adult material, or otherwise in violation of any International, United States Federal, Florida State, or Tennessee State law. You also agree not to post any copyrighted material unless you own the copyright or you have written consent from the owner of the copyrighted material. Spam, flooding, advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are also forbidden on this forum. Additionally, you agree not to post anyone else's personal information on the forum and you agree not to post your home address. Posting other personal information about yourself, such as your phone number, is done entirely at your own risk. We do not take responsibility for any resulting consequences from you posting personal information on this public forum.
It is completely unacceptable and in violation of these rules to target a specific user in a public post (by mentioning their name or making it obvious who is being talked about) and then proceed to harass, slander, or otherwise berate them. This includes airing dirty laundry and posting about personal conflicts in public on this forum, especially without the other party's consent.
Any post found to be inciting drama is subject to moderator removal. Most of the time the poster is well aware of what they are doing, and a moderator may issue a warning if they feel it is appropriate for the situation. This goes along with the very last point at the bottom of this page.
Note that it is impossible for the staff or the owners of this forum to confirm the validity of posts. Please remember that we do not actively monitor the posted messages, and as such, are not responsible for the content contained within. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information presented. The posted messages express the views of the author, and not necessarily the views of this forum, its staff, its subsidiaries, or this forum's owner. Anyone who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to notify an administrator or moderator of this forum immediately. The staff and the owner of this forum reserve the right to remove objectionable content, within a reasonable time frame, if they determine that removal is necessary. This is a manual process, however, please realize that they may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately. This policy applies to member profile information as well.
You remain solely responsible for the content of your posted messages. Furthermore, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the owners of this forum, any related websites to this forum, its staff, and its subsidiaries. The owners of this forum also reserve the right to reveal your identity (or any other related information collected on this service) in the event of a formal complaint or legal action arising from any situation caused by your use of this forum.
You have the ability, as you register, to choose your username. We advise that you keep the name appropriate. You also agree to NEVER use another person's account for any reason. We also HIGHLY recommend you use a complex and unique password for your account, to prevent account theft.
After you register and login to this forum, you will be able to fill out a detailed profile. It is your responsibility to present clean and accurate information. Any information the forum owner or staff determines to be inaccurate or vulgar in nature will be removed, with or without prior notice. Appropriate sanctions may be applicable.
Please note that with each post, your IP address is recorded, in the event that you need to be banned from this forum or your ISP contacted. This will only happen in the event of a major violation of this agreement.

Signatures are limited to six (6) lines total. You may have up to two (2) images, but the combined image height cannot exceed 200px and the combined width cannot exceed 800px. Violations of this policy will, at minimum, result in your signature being edited. Admins and moderators reserve the right to edit any signature they deem violates this rule, disrupts the page layout, or is otherwise inappropriate.
Do not make a reply directly after your last reply on the same thread (aka double-posting). Instead, you should edit your previous post. Exceptions are made for people posting tutorials or guides who need the room provided by multiple posts at the start of a thread.
Publicly arguing or complaining about a moderator or admin's actions will lead to a warning, at minimum. This includes complaining that your posts require moderator approval, that you feel the rules were not applied fairly, or that you don't understand why you were warned, banned, and/or moderated. These issues are private and must be handled privately in either the PM system or on Skype. Please note this does not prevent the constructive discussion of rules in the site suggestions forum, provided the discussion remains civil and does not disparage or otherwise attack specific users, moderators, or admins.
Warning -> One day ban -> One week ban -> Permanent ban
This is the general guideline for the consequences of violating the rules. The nature of the offense will be considered as well. For example, posting something extremely inappropriate could lead straight to a permanent ban. Publicly arguing with or disparaging a moderator will likely lead straight to a ban. If you have an issue with a moderator's action, please contact them directly via the PM system or privately in chat. If you are not satisfied with your answer, you may contact one of the site administrators via PM or direct chat (Corgi or Frocta). Be aware that an admin is unlikely to overturn the actions of a moderator except in extreme circumstances. The administrators and moderators of TN Furs reserve the right to warn/ban users as they see fit.
